All-round Technical Service Employee

In the role of an All-round Technical Service Employee, you will be directly accountable to the Maintenance Coordinator.
What will you do?
As an All-round Technical Service Employee, you are responsible for:
- Assessing the planning received, collecting necessary materials and tools.
- Elimination of malfunctions and carrying out repair and maintenance work on equipment, installations, sanitary facilities, lighting, furniture/inventory, hinges and locks, guest rooms,
common areas restaurants, and car park. - Managing used materials, equipment, consumables and own workspace
- Control activities based on checklists.
- Determining the nature and complexity of the malfunctions or the maintenance to be carried out and the required materials.
- Managing the workload.
- Advising the manager on the quality of the material to be used.
- Minor adjustments to the electricity/data facilities, pulling pipes, and connecting sockets.
- Participate in the work to be carried out by external firms.
- Keeping a logbook with work done.
- Maintain contact with internal departments.
- Carrying out incoming checks on the delivered goods (quantities, packaging, color, etc.) and on (signed) packing slips. Returning damaged or incorrect items, sinfully correcting the delivery note in consultation with the supplying driver.
- Storing goods in the correct warehouse location.
- Preparation of internal orders for warehouse goods utilizing order forms.
- Delivery of internal orders.
- Tidying up and keeping warehouse spaces clean.
- Storage and dispensing of tools and machines. Supervise the correct use and control of the operation of the machines and tools.

You also bring:
- Completed education at MTS or MBO level in architecture, facility management or a comparable field
- At least 3 years of work experience in a similar position
- You are creative in both thinking and action
- You are computer literate and comfortable working with digital systems
- You speak fluent Dutch and English; knowledge of Spanish and/or Papiamentu is a plus
- Availability outside office hours in connection with possible emergencies.
- Mainly walking and standing work, strenuous posture when moving around.
- Exciting working conditions in case of calamities and unwanted confrontations.
- Risk of injury because of intervention in safety-threatening situations.
- Exerting force when working with tools, lifting / carrying (parts of) furniture, etc.
- Staying in various rooms in sometimes warm surroundings, as well as in your own workspace (machine noise, dust / sawdust development. Wearing personal protective equipment.
