THE FESTIVE SEASON AT THE KONTIKI: CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEAR’S EVE IN CURAÇAO

The festive season is one of our favourite times of the year at The Kontiki. For December and the first days of 2027, we have prepared an extensive programme at Club Cabana and Mood Beach, with Christmas dinners, live performances, special BrunchUp editions and a New Year’s Eve celebration by the sea. You might be planning a festive evening out, a relaxed Christmas dinner with family or an afternoon at the beach with friends. Either way, there is something for everyone. Below you will find the full programme.

Christmas at Club Cabana

We open the festive season at Club Cabana on December 23 with a dinner show: a three-course dinner by the sea, accompanied by a live performance.

On Christmas Eve, December 24, we welcome one of the best-known artists from the Netherlands for our Christmas Dinner Show. Guests enjoy a four-course Christmas dinner, followed by a live performance in a festive Christmas atmosphere. Both evenings run from 6:30 PM to 11:00 PM.

On December 25 and 26, Club Cabana serves a four-course Christmas menu. It is a relaxed setting on the beach, ideal for celebrating Christmas with family or friends.

Christmas at Mood Beach

At Mood Beach, we celebrate Christmas on December 24 and 25 with a four-course Christmas menu, served at festively set tables overlooking the sea. If you would like something different from a traditional Christmas dinner, you can also reserve our Christmas Sushi Experience on both days. Reservations are recommended.

BrunchUp: three festive editions

BrunchUp is our party brunch at Mood Beach: a four-course brunch on the beach, combined with live entertainment. For groups, a Liquid High Table is available, including a sushi platter and a bottle of UP Rosé. This festive season, we host three special editions, each from 12:30 PM to 6:00 PM.

Christmas Edition, December 26

The day after Christmas, BrunchUp gets a festive touch, with a special live performance by a Dutch pop artist.

End of the Year Edition, December 27

A lively piano show with well-known songs, medleys and plenty of interaction with the audience. A fitting way to look back on the year with friends.

New Year Edition, January 2

The first BrunchUp of 2027, with a live performance by one of the most recognisable voices in the Netherlands, bringing a mix of soul, pop and R&B.

New Year’s Eve at Mood Beach

Our New Year’s Eve Dinner Show on December 31 is one of the highlights of the festive programme. The evening begins with a five-course dinner at Mood Beach, followed by two live performances: a piano show full of well-known songs and medleys, and a singer who brings a mix of soul, pop and R&B to the stage. At midnight, we welcome 2027 together by the sea.

If you are celebrating with a group, Liquid High Tables are available, including a sushi platter and a bottle of champagne. The evening runs from 7:00 PM to 1:00 AM.

Reserving your festive events

Hotel guests staying at The Kontiki during the festive season receive priority when requesting reservations for our events. You can submit your request through our reservation form.

Please note that submitting the form is a reservation request and not yet a confirmed booking. Our team will review your request and contact you personally once it has been confirmed. If you would like to attend more than one event, please submit a separate request for each event.
