pouco mais do que um conjunto de chaves e malas cheias de sonhos.<\/p>\n<p>O sol mergulhava sobre o Mar das Cara\u00edbas, uma brisa quente dan\u00e7ava na nossa pele, e o ritmo do tamb\u00fa ecoava pelo ar da ilha. Este foi o in\u00edcio da nossa jornada em Cura\u00e7ao\u2014uma hist\u00f3ria enraizada na paix\u00e3o, na fam\u00edlia e no sonho de criar algo especial. <\/p>\n<p><strong>Um legado come\u00e7a<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Em 1989, a nossa fam\u00edlia plantou ra\u00edzes nesta ilha vibrante com a abertura do Van der Valk Plaza Hotel, situado no cora\u00e7\u00e3o de Willemstad. Marc van der Valk, um orgulhoso hoteleiro de terceira gera\u00e7\u00e3o dos Pa\u00edses Baixos, liderou a iniciativa como diretor-geral. <\/p>\n<p>Para n\u00f3s\u2014seus filhos\u2014esta ilha tornou-se casa. Crescemos com os p\u00e9s na areia e os nossos cora\u00e7\u00f5es para sempre ligados \u00e0 cultura colorida e \u00e0 beleza natural de Cura\u00e7ao. <\/p>\n<p><strong>De vis\u00e3o a realidade<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Em 2003, um novo sonho tomou forma: um ref\u00fagio tropical \u00e0 beira-mar. Essa vis\u00e3o tornou-se realidade com o nascimento do Kontiki Beach Resort, situado ao longo da animada costa de Mambo Beach. Concebido como um santu\u00e1rio de cabanas de madeira e lagoas luxuriantes e sinuosas, o Kontiki oferecia algo \u00fanico\u2014um lugar para nadar sob palmeiras e relaxar no seu pr\u00f3prio peda\u00e7o de para\u00edso.  <\/p>\n<p>Em 2006, abrimos as nossas portas ao mundo.<\/p>\n<p><strong>A Paix\u00e3o de uma fam\u00edlia<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Hoje, n\u00f3s\u2014Terence, Justin e Tiara van der Valk\u2014continuamos o legado. Com profundo amor por Cura\u00e7ao e um compromisso inabal\u00e1vel com a hospitalidade calorosa, assumimos as r\u00e9deas para liderar o Kontiki no seu pr\u00f3ximo cap\u00edtulo. <\/p>\n<p>Agora, avan\u00e7amos orgulhosamente sob um nome renovado e uma vis\u00e3o renovada: o Kontiki.
